These electric shears are great for fruit trees/vines! I have several muscadines and fruit trees that require heavy pruning each year. With these there is no fatigue and I've cut through 1" branches with no problem. The blades can be sharpened or replaced when needed.A digital display on the shears shows how much battery is left and how many cuts have been completed. The extension pole adds up to 7' with power connectors running through the pole. The top of the pole can be angled. This allows me to prune my fruit trees without needing a ladder. Two batteries and a charger are provided.

I ordered this 2-in-1 electric pruning shears for my husband who is diligent when it comes to yardwork. Right out of the box, he was excited to give this product a try, and so far, he is very pleased with the way it works--cutting small-to-medium thick branches with ease. The extension pole is definitely a great added feature, as is the inclusion on TWO rechargeable batteries. He gives this product two thumbs up!
