I can't review the arbor, as I tested the face mill on a different holder. As just a small indexable face milling cutter this is roughly 50% the cost of a name brand tool. If you get use out of the arbor there is even more value (about half the value of this set is tied up in the arbor).This works pretty well and is good value for money as just a face mill. If you can use the arbor it is great value for money. The only thing I don't really like is the coating on the inserts which seems a little odd to me.

Zouzmin 2 ainch Face Mill. First off, it's worth noting that this isn't a 2" mill. It's 50mm or thereabouts. May not matter for a lot of face milling, but sometimes (as in the case pictured) it does, and I had to make some adjustments.My initial impressions were good. The inserts actually had the nearly industry standard label with material grades, feeds, speeds, and depth of cut! Cutters are checked for P, M, S, H. There's a discrepancy in the listing where the inserts are sometimes listed as apMt and other times apKt. The inserts I received are marked APMT.Assembling the arbor to the shell, there was no discernible play between the arbor spigot and the shell hole. The tail of the R8 taper was in spec, right at MMC: 0.9495".All worked well. The cutters left a nice finish and there was no apparent wear or damaged to the inserts after a full afternoon of use (manual machine).

These 90* indexable face-mills are getting more and more popular in my shop. It's just a hobby machine shop but I do quite a bit in there.I looked this over, it appears to be machined well, the R8 taper is fine and fits my Bridgeport just fine. No run-out issues. I just took a light pass on a steel drop and it cut fine, not quite fly-cut quality, but it's not a fly-cutter. As for the 90* inserts, they side mill very well. Very tight radius in the corner.This gets added to my tool horde.

Good insert cutter for the money. Fits an R8 spindle. The inserts seem to be of decent quality. I am on a small mill, so I never push it to extremes, but I’m sure this cutter would do some work on a bigger mill. Just taking some light finishing passes and the surface quality is pretty respectable.
