Old hand powered air pump end was dead. I just chopped off the end, pushed this in, tightened up the hose clamp, and voila. The collar is nice and soft, so it goes on easily, and seals tight. I'm going to use the 2nd one on another pump that doesn't really need it, but it's just so much easier to use.

I have 2 Black and Decker Air Station electric pumps, one that is at least 30 years old, and a "newer" model bought in the last 10-12 years (for road bike tires). Had previously replaced the air chuck on the older pump (used for auto tires) by purchasing a cheap pump and using its air chuck as a replacement. However, the air chucks on both pumps had become a pain i.e. leaking and popping off the tire valve stem under load. Found this double set of chucks on Amazon and said what the heck, cheaper and simpler solution than buying another couple of cheap pumps. It is a simple procedure to remove and replace a chuck. Since 2 clamps come with the chucks it's even better. I emphasize simple because I had a stroke in March 2022 and still only able to use my dominant hand. Hint: Use a 6mm socket on the clamp nut (easier than a screwdriver for a one-hander). Also, I am 77 yo. These new chucks make my air pumps like new. Just pumped my road bike tire to 110psi and it was a no-hands required evolution. Hope to be back on the bike in the near future.

Easy to install and better quality vs. the original plastic chuck. Didn't need 2, but 1 wasn't offered.

It was easy to change the Chuck from the old tubing and put on the new one. It’s working very well and was one of the most economic options on Amazon , as well as in the stores. Very happy so far have used it on several cars on all four tires, so I am getting good use out of it

These feel like they are made well and secure onto a Schrader valve easily. The only thing I don't like is the hose clamp but I don't know of a similarly easy to use alternative that is also secure, so the hose clamp will have to do.

These things work great. I used them to repair two bike pumps in an obvious way and the pumps now work like new. A slick way to prevent having to throw out old pumps.
