It’s nice to just hook it to the valve stem and not have to hold it there until you get a cramp.

I'm tired of tire chucks that you have to hold on the tire the entire time - especially refilling car tires in cold/wet weather. This is a latching style that's easy to use: Squeeze a lever to connect or disconnect.Open Flow means what it says. Attach this to a tire and (once it depresses the Schrader valve) it'll empty a tire just as well as fill it. There are plenty of ways to add a check or momentary valve that will make it more useful hooked up to your air compressor!Really well-machined and sturdy, so lives up to its promise.

I've got this hooked up to my little pancake compressor, and it's worked flawless for the 3 months I've had it. I only use it occasionally for topping off my tires, but it works great. I do kinda wish it wasn't open flow, but I don't really care. When it's locked on it stays on and it's easy to take off. The brass is heavy duty and I haven't had any leaks.Overall worth it, well made and it functions well.

This is a well made air chuck. The brass is hefty and well milled. It’s really nice, perhaps even heirloom nice. Ha!

Milton always comes through with quality products. This locks onto valve stems so that you don't have to press and hold while airing up tires. This isn't really a necessity, but it's great to have, especially if you have heavy truck tires or trailer tires to inflate. The locking mechanism is simple and tough. It locks on and won't let go. 1/4" npt fitting, so it fits on standard air hoses, but may not fit on some inflators, so you may need an adapter.

I'm excited about this tire tire chuck. It locks right on and I get it on all the way, it locks, holds and fills tires without any hands. I used this to replace the stock end on my tire inflator. It's got a gauge and valve that is operated with one hand and a 18" length of tubing with this tire chuck on the other. Now I can use 2 hands to make sure the bike stem is seated right in the chuck, let go of both and blow the tire up to the right pressure using the gauge on my inflator (which is supplied by an air compressor on a length of hose). I'm also glad this is brass: its not going to rust or pit, there's not plating to flake off. This will last!

Since this is an open flow air chuck, I think most people will either be purchasing this as a replacement chuck for their Milton or other brand name tire inflators that are controlled by a lever or trigger valve since this chuck starts flowing air as soon as it's attached. However, just using this chuck alone with an NPT fitting attached will work great for filling large tires so that you aren't having to keep the valve lever/trigger depressed in order to fill. I haven't tried it yet as a replacement chuck for my tire inflator, but I did put an NPT fitting on it to directly attach it for filling large tires and it works well for that application. I did knock one star off for it not being able to get a leakless fit without having to keep it held perfectly straight in position. I do think it's a quality made part and feel it's safe to say that it may be one of the best with this style of chuck. However, I'm thinking I will probably try a different locking system style the next time just to see if I can get a better seal with less effort. I hope my review was helpful!
