Needed an adapter to keep a PSI gauge mounted to the Schrader valve stem to monitor suspected SLOW air leak in well pressure tank. Pressure tank valves use automotive stem threads, not the same as A/C Schrader stems. While there are plenty of screw on fittings and valves available for refrigerant valves, automotive/tire type stem fittings are almost exclusively push-on/hold or quick-release/clamp-on - which is not suitable for my purpose. I would have settled for a female-threaded tire gauge but was unable to find one.This nifty brass adapter allowed me to easily connect the 1/4" MNPT on a typical air gauge to the automotive-stem Schrader with a screw-on swivel fitting, so that I could actually mount directly to the stem AND rotate it to face the desired direction! WORKS PERFECTLY!It even came as a pair, so I have one that I can use to create a secure threaded screw-on air hose fitting for an application where a quick release is not needed or desired.

I bought a pressure tank gauge that used 1/4 NPT, so I needed this to connect it to a schrader valve on my tank.With a bit of plumber's tape, and a few good turns with a wrench, there are no leaks.It definitely didn't seal perfectly when twisted by hand and without plumber's tape. But once installed properly, it works well.Quality seems good. I have seen no reason to worry about it''s longevity. I'm glad I have it.

I recently bought a new tire filler for my air compressor that came with a chuck that has a clip you press to open it and then it attaches to the tire nipple. It did not seal well at all. Air was always coming out of the connection.I watched a video review of it and the person reviewing it said they got one of these to put on the end instead, so i tried it and it works MUCH better with this on the end. Air no longer releases from my tire when I attach the air compressor and I can get an accurate reading on my tire pressure.Would definitely recommend this product for someone with an air compressor who uses it to fill their tires.

Ordered 6 different screw-on/clip-on schrader valve air fillers. None worked on the Mercedes (with short metal stems that are close to the rim). Most of them would fit over the stem OK, but none of them would put air in the tire. Half of them leaked and the others wouldn't allow air through.These screw on and off quickly with a light touch. Even when the tire is inflated, they easily turn to remove, with no fuss. They allow quick inflation with my onboard 12V compressor. Really terrific product!

No valve to shut off air, but seals up when screwed on very well. So it works very well for my needs.

I have this nifty little 120 volt compressor I use for my bicycle but I had to replace the hose, the only valve stem connector I could find was one of those clamp-ons. The clamp-on fitting never really worked well. This one is better than the one that came stock on the compressor. It is very well made and exceeds my expectations of quality, plus now I have a spare!

Well worth the cost! Match great with a digital pistol grip chuck. I put off ordering these for a while… don’t wait, buy them.

I bought two of these. However, they leak air so fast between the barrel that twists onto the stem and the body of the part that it is hard to get air into the tire. I was hoping to find a way to not have to use the clip on chucks as you always have to hold them tightly in place. But, this product didn't work.
