I have purchased 3 first for my Arrma Granite 4x4 4S lipo and it has and still can withstand gruelling punishment. I bought two more for my Redcat Everest 10 crawler and it's powerful enough to turn through all sorts of abuse precisely or forcefully to navigate any terrain wet or dry. I am thoroughly impressed with their performance and great price!!

Used it on a snowplow and has a lot of torque. Should work great as a steering servo for a stock setup

I've bought tons of the DS 20kg/25kg servos and love them. Needed a servo to handle the 4WS setup on my Tamiya Juggernaut and figured why not go with the 30kg. Servo is strong and steers the truck well, but it is very slow. I pretty much need to start turning a foot or so before I actually want to turn, not good in a 10lb+ truck that moves at 15-20mph. So slow I'm probably going to replace it with a 25kg or similar. Unless I somehow got a defective unit (works great otherwise), I wouldn't bother with this particular servo for RC use unless its in a rig where steering speed doesn't matter at all.

Nice motor. I haven't put it under serious stress yet, but it seems sturdy enough. I bought it to re-motor (replace) the steering servo in an old "Rock Runner" RC car that I have. It was a little bit larger than the "standard profile" so check for fit if that matters. Side to side (and front to back) was okay. It was a little taller, up from the mount, by about 5-8mm (estimating), and slightly longer below the mount, by maybe 2-5mm (estimating). The mount itself was also slightly thicker by about 2mm or so (estimating). If you have the clearance it won't be a factor. It should drop right in place of a standard servo. If your mounting envelope is tight, however, you might want to double-check to be sure. For me, I had to do a little sawing and filing to get it to fit. But I did it, and it works perfectly.

I don’t know if it’s strong enough or just a bad part but I installed on my Erevo and took it out twice and now it doesn’t work anymore

It wouldn't stop littering trying to find center on the stock traxxas radio, upgraded to fs gt5 and now it's fine. Strong servo that has lasted longer than the first power HD one I bought that lasted 1 run.
