If you have a Bosch mini water heater, you better have a maintenance plan to change these our yearly! I buy one every year to have on on hand ready for the next yearly cycle. With a hard water we have here in South Florida, these are the anodes that sacrifice themselves to keep your tank for corroding or rusting out. A very inexpensive maintenance item to keep in stock.

I sue these on my Bosh water heater that is under the sink. We have very hard water and I have to replace the anode about every 6 to 7 months. These are perfect for the price and have had no issues.

Worked great. However I have realized that my old anode rod (seen in the photo) was still fine. These things are supposed to wither away by 75% before replacement. However my heating element was fairly crusty and required a cleaning, so at least the water heater should be good for a long while.
