These are accurate, easy to use, and come with a grommets to replace as well.

Using these with a Y-cable and the EGG Genius device and they work well.Firstly I was surprised how much larger these are than the original EGG Genius probe - these are about twice the diameter and 50% larger in size.The temperature reported is accurate. In the screenshot the original probe is in Meat 2. Point to note here is that the original probe takes 2-3 seconds to reach temp; these probes take ~50 seconds to reach temperature. In most cases that should not matter for meat.

Mine for some reason reads Higher themp than my instant Thermometer that I have used for months. Smoked/baked potatoes will read 210F but they actually 200F.

My Pit Boss came with one probe. I bought these so I could have 2 and an extra. The purchased probes are within 5 degrees of the factory probe. So, who know which one is right. Close enough either way for me. I did remove the red and black tubing as I think I don't need plastic tube in with my food.
