I have found that these end mills do cut well. And they are of a size that fits my needs quite well. I expect to get a far amount of use from them. The carbide inserts aren't the best. They started to show wear after just a few cuts. But inserts are easily replaceable -- that's why insert tooling is so popular after all. And of course, you can rotate them until the replacements arrive.One thing to be aware of is that these tools are set up with a negative rake. Most insert end-mills that I am familiar with have a positive rake. That's not to say that these are bad. Negative rake might be exactly what you want. But the rake can be important and nowhere on the page (as of this review) is there any information about the rake angle. (But you can see it if you look at the photos.) Also, the details at the top of the page this item (again as of this review) says "3 flutes" and "3 cutting edges". But the photos and information for the item further down the page clearly show 2 flutes (which is accurate for the product delivered. Bottom-line, look closely to see if this is what you want. If it is, they will serve well. But if this isn't what you wanted, you might be disappointed.
