Not TiN coated. Looks fine otherwise. Not worth returning, but the wrong item was sent. Really this review should reflect poorly on Amazon and their return policies, rather than the product.

This end mill seems to be ground correctly and was sharp when I received it. I have not actually used it on mild steel but believe it would perform as well. The center cutting action was good as well. Would purchase again.

These end mills cut as well as any we've used, in our small shop. More cost effective than paying to have old ones sharpened.
