Fabric is used as supporter of an ink-blocking stencil. Polyester has replaced traditional silk as the fabric of choice among screen printers all over the world because of its tensile strength, elastic memory and resistance to chemicals, abrasion heat and moisture. Polyester is woven from yarn that is extruded from heated polyester into a single strand. The extruded thread is the spun to a precise diameter.

Great silk screen used for screen printing. Fabric did not break and can be used for screen printing.

I bought this to make my own silk screen frames, I love the quality I only wish it came rolled and not folded (like in the picture). To put this on a frame it’s difficult when there are creases all over and some are tougher to get out

Used this for my homemade screens! The mesh came in a little bag. Misdirected me into thinking it was a roll of mesh unfortunately it wasn’t. Very sturdy I would buy again
