Briidea 30 amp power inlet box is designed for outdoor use to avoid carbon monoxide hazard. It can be safely hardwired through an outside wall directly to the transfer switch or panel. Compared with the metal inlet box, it is easy to drill the holes just in less than 1 minute! Rustproof, waterproof, it can provide the best protection in any bad weather!

This is a well designed box for generator connectivity, I have vinyl siding so I needed a mounting block, and I used metal screws to hold to mounting block, then used a hot glue gun to cover the screws which penetrated the mounting block. I drilled a 7/8" hole to allow 10/3 with ground wire to pass thru back, then used silicone caulk between mounting block and this item. I am really impressed in how well it is shielded from water, it'll perform well. I would definitely buy again.

Decent inlet box for the money. Plastic body and cover, no holes in it for wiring to pass thru. Decent thickness material. Box is decently large for heavy gauge wiring. Not as sturdy as a metal box.

This thing is way too flimsy. Will be broken I no time. I feel it's way to thin and cheaply made for high voltage. I'm returning for the metal one.Connection is UL rated but not the box..no thank you
