I bought mine right before the hurricane hit Houston, and luckily, my power only went out for a few hours. However, during those few hours, I started up my generator, which only has two 120v outlets. I used this RV adapter in the generator's RV outlet to give me three more outlets that I used to plug in my internet modem while I had two window unit ACs running. Worked perfectly. The cord is very thick and heavy-duty. The clear ends light up when in use, which is handy when the lights go out. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought this to use while camping and I did use it. However, I didn't notice when I purchased it, that it isn't really for outdoor use, regardless of any information stating it is. The paperwork warning is that it is not to be used in wet or rainy conditions. The cord is fairly short, so there was no way around the fact that it was going to be outside at the electrical post. I threw a small tarp over the post in case it rained during the night and was disappointed to have missed this. The description states, "and moisture resistance, which is durable and withstand outdoor harsh condition." Doesn't exactly make it look that using it outdoors might be an issue, but the product label definitely says this. Outside of that, it worked as expected, is very durable and solid.

An unexpected power outage had us using the 3 pronged adapter for us as well as our neighbors. Our generator has an 30 amp RV plug, which we don’t use, so this option coverts it into 3 separate outlets. Worked great.

This lasted through a Cochrane winter where it was -41C for a week. The cord appears to be brand new even after all the time outside, it does not look worn or used.

I bought one of these to take on a camping trip to an RV park. I wasn't able to find any comparable product at a price close to this item, and there was no sacrifice on features or quality. We were able to connect a pair of 13-amp air fryers to this adapter and breakfast for nine people was served up quick and trouble-free.This adapter has a very solid feel and thanks to the clear end it's easy to see the high quality of construction. I expect I will have and use this thing for many years to come.
