This electric stove is so convenient for countertop cooking. It has silicon stands on the bottom to keep it from slipping when in use. If you are a social cooker (chili cook-offs or cooking challenges), this is a great option to consider so you can spread competitors around so they can cook without crowding the kitchen. If you are a vlogger or someone who enjoys recording themselves cooking, this is also a nice way to record yourself from across the cooking surface, which is nearly impossible in many traditional cooking setups. The stove includes features like timers and safety locks, which not everyone will want to use. In case you are looking, they work. Not ideal if you run a restaurant or other business and plan to use this all day for cooking.

I ordered the built-in 12 inch electric cooktop from Karienvir. I got this to be potentially used in my Skoolie or one of my properties. It's a 2 burner stove - the 2 burners burn at 600W and 1400W for a total power level of 2000W. You can also set a cook time timer and it has 9 power levels. You can easily slide and control the temperature with the touch controls.I'm used to cooking with gas, but this electric cooktop was ideal for the bus as it has solar power which means I don't have to buy propane.I may even put this in the backyard kitchen... So many options lolSo far, I recommend.

This cooktop is great! It heats up quickly, has good, if somewhat unintuitive, controls andlooks elegant.The top surface is totally smooth with no seams, or cutouts, so it cleans up quickly and well.They've supplied rubber feet for portable use and clips for installed use.There is no complicated wiring...just a plug for a 110v wall socket.Reading of the included operation manual is a must (for people like me anyway) for familiaritywith the control symbols and meanings.The controls include zone, temperature, heating time and control locks.Nice unit!

I will be using this for cooking out on the patio when we are in the mood for hotpot on colder nights. Of course, we could also use this inside. But this makes it very convenient when needing to cook when camping. This will also be used as a back up if my gas ever goes out and we need something to cook with. It's small enough to be used inside of a dorm room, but I don't know if a hot plate is allowed. I like that there's 2 burners.

Very adaptable. This really requires installation by an electrical professional. There are many safety considerations. In particular, proper wire and breaker size is required to prevent fire. Also needs a proper range hood.

Das Doppelkochfeld passt genau auf unsere Anforderung an eine mobile Kochstelle. Auf der kleinstebn Stufe erfüllt das Kochfeld auch die Warmhaltefunktion.

Das Karienvir Kochfeld bietet genügend Leistung, damit es problemlos 2 Töpfe und oder 2 Pfannen mit großer Hitze versorgen kann. Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um ein Induktionskochfeld, sondern um eine klassische, elektrische, Glaskeramik-Kochplatte, wobei die Oberfläche direkt erhitzt wird. Spezielles Geschirr bzw. Töpfe, ist dadurch nicht notwendig.Das Kochfeld sehe ich als eine Art Hybrid-Lösung an.Auf der einen Seite, soll man es mobil nutzen können. Hierfür spricht eine Produktabbildung mit Füßchen und der EU-Stecker-Anschluss. (Kabellänge ca. 120cm) Diese Füßchen sind nicht im Set enthalten. Des Weiteren wird diese Möglichkeit in der Installationsanleitung nicht beschrieben.Auf der anderen Seite, ist lediglich die feste Installation beschrieben, mit den nötigen Abständen.Die Kochplatte sollte nicht „so wie sie ist“ auf einen Tisch gestellt werden. Es besteht Brandgefahr, da die Platte und Gehäuse heiß werden.Im Fall der Fest-Installation, befindet sich am Gehäuse ein Anschluss für die Erdung. Die Installation mittels fester Verkabelung, darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.Sollte das Kochfeld unter voller Leistung (3200W / 230V = 13,91A) betrieben werden und im selben Kreislauf bzw. der Sicherung noch weitere Verbraucher betrieben werden, kann es dazu führen, dass die Überlastsicherung ausgelöst wird. Bei einer 16 Ampere Sicherung, liegt das Maximum der Leistung bei 3680 Watt.An einem mit 10 Ampere gesicherten Kreislauf kann dieses Kochfeld nicht betrieben werden, da hier das Maximum bereits bei 2300 Watt liegt.Im Lieferumfang ist ein Schaber enthalten. Damit kann das Kochfeld von hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen befreit werden. Bei unsachgemäßer Verwendung von Kochgeschirr oder Schaber, können Kratzer auf dem Kochfeld entstehen. Es ist also Vorsicht geboten.Außerdem sind in dem Set Dichtband, 4 Klemmen und Montage-Anleitung enthalten, womit das Kochfeld fest installiert werden kann.

Das Glaskeramikkochfeld von Karienvir mit zwei Platten ist eine tolle Ergänzung für jede Küche, besonders wenn man begrenzten Platz hat oder eine mobile Lösung sucht. Mit einer Breite von 30 cm und einem schlichten, aber eleganten Design in "Eisenhaltig" passt es gut in verschiedene Küchenstile.Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die einfache Installation dank des Plug-and-Play-Steckers, der in eine normale Haushaltssteckdose passt. Es erspart zusätzliche Verkabelungsarbeiten und kann bei Bedarf flexibel bewegt werden. Ideal für kleinere Küchen oder sogar für den Einsatz im Freien.Das Dreifach-Heizelement bietet Flexibilität: Die kleinere Platte mit 1200W ist perfekt für langsames Garen, während der größere Brenner mit 2000W dank der erweiterten Zone auch schnelles Kochen ermöglicht. Dies spart definitiv Zeit und Energie.Der Schieberegler macht die Bedienung sehr intuitiv, und die Sicherheitssperre sowie der Smart-Timer bieten zusätzliche Sicherheit und Komfort – perfekt, wenn man mehrere Dinge gleichzeitig erledigt.Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass die Glasoberfläche empfindlich auf Kratzer reagiert, sodass man vorsichtig sein muss, besonders beim Reinigen. Ansonsten bietet das Kochfeld solide Leistung und zuverlässige Hitzeverteilung.Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Produkt für den Preis, daher 4 Sterne!
