Hexagon Paper Piecing Template

Step 1: wrap cardboard
1. Fold the cardboard neatly along the six edges of the cardboard;
2. Use a single strand of thread to sew the six folded corners in sequence;
3. The stitches should be moderately tight and should not be too loose or tight;
4. Failure to pay attention to folding neatly;
5. Return to the first folded corner and perform rolling stitching again;
6. Cut off the thread.
Step 2: Splicing a flower
1. With the adjacent side as the axis, the two pieces face each other;
2. Start rolling stitches from the sharp corners, so as not to pierce the cardboard;
3. The needle pitch is 2mm (the needle pitch depends on the size of the cardboard);
4. An extra stitch needs to be fixed at the sharp corner.
Step 3: Remove the cardboard
1. Use scissors to remove the single strand wrapped in cardboard;
2. Remove the cardboard.

These work well for my EPP, I haven't had any problems with odd cuts/sizes in the pks...I have ordered these a couple times and will again when needed. I like that I can use them eith my glue pen and then re-use the papers. If they get bent I just iron them and they are good to go

Dimensionally they are close but they definitely vary slightly. In quilting you wont notice though. They are plenty sterdy, but the easy of use is lacking mainly because of packaging. Put them in a tube or box and they would get 5 stars.

These paper hexies will work with the following caveats. If you’re just starting a project - in other words, not adding to existing hexies then they will work. They’re just slight bigger than the ones I was using. They’re about half as thick/heavy paper than I hoped for. But if you’re just starting out and on a budget, these papers will do the job.
