Safety Instructions

- The LCD display has an error of 0.2 V- 0.3 V, but this is normal.

Got this item in today to replace a Harbor Freight controller that has had display go bad seems to be a great controller.The light output is alot brighter than the HFT controller output set at same voltage as HFT was. So far so good

It works, but the wire connectors are pretty poor. No instructions included.

After connecting my solar panel and a battery, it seems to work to recharge. The blinking arrow icon indicates the flow from the panel to the battery to bring it to full charge. I do not have a load connected to the DC output.

It seem to work okay except for when I went to use the USB port it got hot after about 2 or 3 minutes and smoke started coming out of the other side of it so unless you want your place to burn down when you walk away from it don't use the USB and also this is the second one that did that so I don't think it was a fluke thing by it happening

The terminals are just screw terminals, but that's about what you'd expect here. You don't shove big wires in there. There are spade or fork type terminals for that.The screen is convenient. It gives you the information you need at a glance.I have only put about 5.5a through it, but it has been fine thus far.The battery modes actually work. In other words, it changes the the cutoff voltage, depending on the battery chemistry.It's fine for the price. I'm happy with it.
