Using this skimmer sock in your pool skimmer filter can save you a lot of money and save your cartridge filter from being replaced as frequently. Also great filtering out debris from oil in a turkey fryer. These pump saver sock can be used a few times after being washed in between.
The filter safer socks capture fine particles
These swimming pool net work well at keeping fine pollen, smaller bugs, hair, oil, leaves, algae and other debris out of your pump and filter. They are widely used in In-ground pool, above ground pool, pond, spa, hot tub, etc.
These backwash socks are easy to install and work great. Removing the basket isn't an issue with practice. Just use your thumb to hold the basket to the side of the cover and pull both up at once and they come out with ease. Wash out and reuse the same sock a few times too so a pack of these will last you a good while as long as you clean them often.
Note:
1. Each sock can be applied for 3-4 weeks usually with its best effect, please check the sock every week or every day, and replace or clean them up when they soiled.
2. Do not use these if you add chlorine to your pool via the skimmer, they will deteriorate very quickly when exposed to chlorine tablets.

Bought these as a hack for a shop vacuum, it works well. Very versatile and durable. Nice thickness and great value.

If you have never used these in your skimmer, then you should start immediately. My water has never been clearer or cleaner. The skimmer socks catch so many fine particles and debris that I never knew about until this year. One sock can be used over and over after they are cleaned. Adding this to your pool regimen is a must.

These work well and fit adequately in my standard Hayward skimmer basket. Not as tight as other brands. They catch much debris that would otherwise end up in my cartridge filter. I change these almost daily and they do a great job for me.

These are extremely helpful if you have flowering trees around your pool (or anything near your pool that could drop debris). The crepe myrtles were dropping their delicate blossoms into the pool. They are small enough that they made it through the skimmers. The pump would be at zero pressure b/c it was so clogged. Once we got the socks, we have not had an issue. Will continue to purchase.

These skimmer baskets socks work great. Keeps the finer debris out of pump basket. After each use I let them dry for a day, give them a good shake, and use again making them a GREAT value. Definitely worth the price and highly recommend.

The pool socks are easy to put on and collects fine particles that normally go through the basket. Our filter would normally pick them up but these socks allow you to extend your filter cleaning by collecting fine particles at the skimmer.Pro: easy to put on and easy to dispose

I purchased this product to help filter out the little particulate matter that floats on the surface of the pool especially during the spring time when pollen and different breeze are falling on the surface of the pool. Curious one afternoon I walked out while the pool had been on for 30 minutes. And the skimmer basket sock was floating on the top and actually lifting up the filter basket doing completely nothing to do with his job you almost need to utilize a heavy stainless steel washer to put and hold it down inside the basket otherwise this product is pretty much useless.Will reassess the reviews in 30 days but so far it’s not looking so good

These skimmer socks have been a fantastic addition to my pool maintenance routine. They fit perfectly over my pool's skimmer basket and do an excellent job of capturing leaves and other debris before they reach the filter. I think this will reduce the frequency of my backwash saving me both time and effort. The socks are durable and last through multiple cleanings. Overall, a simple yet effective product that makes keeping my pool clean much easier. Highly recommend!
