First time in ground pool owner. These have been very effective at catching small debris in my skimmers so less gets through to my cartridge filter. I was nervous they would not stretch across my baskets but they do fit, but are stretched quite far. Depending on your usage, surroundings, and external factors like dust or pollen, these socks can get filthy pretty quickly. Suction through the skimmer still seems fine even when dirty, but I recommend checking them at least every couple of days. At least once a week I remove the socks and rinse them thoroughly with a hose, and then replace them. I've been getting about 2 weeks of usage before small holes start to form where the sock is stretched tightest around the skimmer basket, at which point I swap in new ones. Your mileage may vary based on pool chemistry and size of your baskets. So far these have been a good low cost way of reducing burden on the filter.

I actually used these on my wet/dry vacuum as a prefilter. it does a great job and they're super cheap so I can just throw them away when they're getting clogged. and it saves my wet/dry filter from needing such frequent blowouts. A great buy. Maybe I'll use them on my pool but for now, they're working great.

These are a must have to place in your skimmer basket for a debris free pool. They are the same material as a pair of hosiery. It will catch the fine particles that usually go through the skimmer and clog the filter. I make sure my pool motor is off before i attach them in the basket as, when it's on, there is quite a bit of suction. I've been changing them out every 2 weeks this summer and my pool filter does not need to be cleaned as often. The pack of 30 is a decent price for what they do. Will def buy again when i run out.

We have used a pool skimmer without a sock for a few years and decided to give these a try. Totally worth the money. They can fit pretty much any size and function as they should. We never had an issue of them slipping off and the amount they catch that would otherwise go right through to the pump was amazing! Way better than I ever expected. Since they are so cheap I bought the 40 pack and I just use them once and toss them after a few days but you could rinse them out and pop them back in so easy to reuse for longer use!
