This is the most beautiful axe we every owned. I admit I got this for hubby, but I couldn't believe how amazing it was when it arrived! Super heavy duty, the wooden handle is very well made and has beautiful grain. Hubby is so in love with this - and it also works well to chop firewood! It's being used outside, but he brings it back in every day, cleans it and puts the leather sheath back on. It's worth it! Highly recommend this

The axe is well made and holds up agains brutal splitting. Oak and especially pecan. I had an issue with the sheath but customer service has been great getting a new one.

This is one beast of an axe!This axe is very well made with great attention to detail. You can tell that the person who made it genuinely cared about and took pride in their work.The axe has a good feel in hand, very well balanced and just the right weight for me. The handle has a good shape for me, letting me grip it well and slide my following hand down smoothly for a very nice swing. The axe hits hard and the head works well. Again, its shape and functions were very well thought out and put into the product. It has just the right angle for really getting deep on the strike and breaking off large chips, making easy work out of hardwood. While it came fairly sharp, I put my own edge on it after the first few test swings. This head takes and holds and edge extremely well, but the hardness of the material used does make you work for it, not a bad thing in anyway!Overall this is a top notch axe that looks like it will last a lifetime.
