About this item

  • PREVENT PIPE FREEZE AND BURST – Use our pipe heat cable to ensure the safety of your water pipes, preventing freezing and bursting. Even in extreme winter conditions, water will keep flowing at temperatures as low as -40℉
  • AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL – The 3FT pipe heat cable features built-in NGT thermostats that automatically activate when temperatures drop to 41℉ and turn off at 55.4℉, making power adjustment accuracy and promoting energy efficiency
  • RELIABLE AND LONG-LASTING – Constructed from excellent materials, 7W/FT constant power provides continuous heat in cold environments. Weather-resistant PVC outer jacket for both high and low temperatures. The end seal of the heat cable has also been treated for better waterproofing, ensuring a longer lifespan
  • VERSATILE APPLICATIONS – Great for protecting water lines in homes, RVs, and more. Compatible with metal and plastic pipes with diameters ranging from at least 0.4 inches to a maximum of 1.5 inches
  • EASY INSTALL – The water pipe heat cable comes with instructions and can only be used straight, no spiraling, crossing, or overlapping. Simply lay the cable straight along the water pipe and secure it
  • Tips: Testing the cable before the installation. Uncoil it with no overlaps. Place the thermostat part in an ice bucket for a few mins. When the temp is below 41 °F, the thermostat kicks in and the cable heating wire starts to get electrified and heat up. In a few mins, you can feel the heat, showing the heating wire works fine, and it's okay to install. Note: don't keep the cable plugged in for testing too long. When you feel a bit of warmth, turn it off

I got this heat cable for my outdoor pipes, and it was really easy to install. Just lay it along the pipe, secure it, and you're good to go. The built-in thermostat turns it on when it gets cold, which is super convenient. It's keeping my water flowing during freezing nights, and I'm very happy with it. Great product, highly recommend!

From the box this thermostatically controlled pipe heater tested good when a bag of ice was wrapped around the control portion and plugged in. The thermostat will turn on the pipe heater around 40 degrees F and should work to -15 degrees F as described in the instructions that came with it. Also per the instructions the length of the heated wire can't be altered without causing the pipe heater to fail. Still the build quality is very good and the cCSA rating is merited.

I live in NY and during cold winter, the pipe outside usually got frozen and one time it was bursted. This product is useful to prevent frozen pipe. I used a similar one last year. And this one looks better and is less expensive. This product is so easy to install.

It’s still cold in nyc and random snow showers so this is perfect for this type of weather. Works great and very sturdy.

Helps keep the pipes from freezing. Just don't wrap it across itself or it will get too hot and burn out.
