These have been great while doing a bunch of front end changes.Did new springs and shocks and upper and lower ball joints, quick alignment....A couple weeks later did the track bar and steering linkages, quick alignment....Week later did the upper and lower control arms and bushings, quick alignment...Then had to do an alignment again as it all settled in, and will probably do a check in another week or two.....Once I think it’s done moving I’ll probably have it rack aligned at a shop, but these plates really work and do the job.Watch a few YouTube videos first to see how guys are doing it and get a better understanding...

I really like how easy it is to use... however my only gripe is the storage page that was included. That is of poor quality and the firs time I opened it the velcro that was sewn on started to detach. So I'm sure after the 3rd or 4th use the velcro will be completely useless... All in all the tape meaures and the plate are great, but the storage bag should either be redone, or tossed out.

Lots written about "bendy" toe plates being a waste of money--these are solid and stay in-place. The two tapes are also strong enough they stay in position when you draw them across the width of the car and place into the slots on the toe plates. These are a great value for DIY alignments.

The bolt on shorter tow adjustment plates only work on 25% of vehicles when the clearance allows it…. These plates make it easy to align the vehicle with the wheels/tires on…

These are basically very simple devices for measuring Toe-in. The one issue I had was the tape measures they include. Very cheap Chinese junk measures. After my second use, one of them "unspooled" (tape measure wouldn't roll back up into it's housing. Tried to call the company based on the big happy face on the side of the box encouraging me to call them I there was anything I was unsatisfied with. Left an voicemail and 3 weeks later...crickets are still chirping. The other issue is that you have to be careful when pulling the tape measures by yourself. Any significant tire bulge at the base can cause the plates to rock front to back if you're not careful. I found it more accurate to have someone on the other side pushing on the top of the plate so that the tire bulge pushing out the plate at the bottom wasn't affecting the measurement.

I'm not going to lie, it tikes time & patience. After you get the hang of it, it will become easier to do the toe adjustment. Your asking a 64 year old male to precisely get 1/32" difference on a tape measure. Usually a FWD car has slight toe in. I got the steering wheel dead on. Saved me the price of the tool the very first time. I would recommend if you are a DIY.

The plates themselves are very well made, and they did a good job with setting the toe on my 91 Jeep Cherokee with a 6.5" lift and 33" tires. The measuring tapes included are pretty cheap. One has an issue with the locking mechanism where it won't release the tape properly so you have to shove the tape back into the case. That happened after 1 use.
