I had my doubts about using this to clean my my toilets. I have very hard water and I have tried everything to keep toilet rings from forming and to remove them when they do including pumice stones. This worked like magic. I used a small strip of the sandpaper and Barkeepers powder and within 5 minutes my toilet looked like new. You can probably used any cleanser powder because it is the sandpaper that does most of the work. You can actually feel when the bowl is clean because the sandpaper will begin to just glide over the clean surface. And best of all you can get up under the rim and around the curves which are very difficult to clean with a pumice stone. Give it a try you won’t be sorry. The easiest and fastest way to get rid of those nasty hard water rings.

Yes I love these! I cut them down. & use them to sand down my calloused heels. In Arizona we practically live in sandals. This saves me money on pedicures

OK please dont laugh. I know this product is made for drywall, but I saw a TikTok where a lady cleaned her hard water stains from her toilet so I had to give it a try! Perfect! Buy these, clean your toilets, clean your pool tiles from hard water and calcium.

I recommend using this for cleaning those stubborn calcium stains on porcelain, it works great! Don't worry, it won't scratch it. The hardness of the porcelain is greater than the hardness of this sanding screen.

Use a small piece of this sanding screen in conjunction with Bar Keeper's Friend cleaning powder & voila! Your toilet will look brand spanking new!! I'm serious. I've tried everything to get rid of the hard water stains and nothing has worked until this combination! I'm so happy I found a solution!

I did not purchase the 3M Fine 9089NA Drywall Sanding Screen for its' intended purpose. I bought it to clean the stains in my toilets. It works. Very light touch, the old stains come right up. It's easy to do, don't rub too hard, the stains from water elements disappears immediately and they don't seem to be coming back either. They probably will, but I have this now to rid them again.

*Took the picture half way through so you could see the difference and what I started with. I used a very small 1†x 3†piece and toilet water (no cleaner or pre treatment) and took me less than 10 minutes.I learned about using this stuff to clean porcelain from someone who cleans homes professionally. It feels/is very abrasive, yet DOES NOT scratch the porcelain itself. PS I used ONLY this and the toilet water to clean **NO fancy toilet cleaner or pre treatment of any kind** Wish I’d known about this years ago. Will definitely purchase again but won’t need to for a good while, since I used a tiny 1†x 3†strip for the whole toilet and could’ve gotten away with less.UNRELATED(But also amazing..)Use undiluted vinegar with 1oz dawn dish soap in a spray bottle for your shower cleaner. Leave it on for a bit while you do something else and scum comes right off. No scrubbing. Learned this from the same person and it’s fabulous. You’re welcome.
