We are working on a kitchen cabinet painting project. These sanding sponges were selected to complete some of the detail work around the raised panel cabinet doors and crown molding. The existing cabinet surface is in pretty good shape and just needed a light sanding with 220 grit to prep the surface for primer. While these seem like a quality sanding sponge and would expect that the 3M brand, they just didn't hold up. Lightly sand 2 cabinet doors and the sponge was done. We evening tried rinsing them out with no luck. These were a waste of money.

i bought to finish a prop for COMIC-CON from Renegadeprops.co ..... the prop was great but sanding with this wasn't great lol... it clogged kinda eaily.

3M normally makes great products, but this is not one of them. I bought a pack of 220 grit for some cabinet doors and couldn't do one door with a single pad. I ended up using them as sanding blocks to hold actual 220 grit sandpaper.

Product doesn't justify the price. 3M isn't what it used to be.
