Attached pictures speak for them self. I used this on my in feed tables for my planer. Lots of deep surface rust. I cut a piece to fit my rotaries sander. I sprayed the infeed tables lightly with WD 40. Used the pads on my sander. (10 minutes per onfeed table. Whiped it up with a rag. Cleaned with mineral spirits. Whiped. Buffed for a few. Came out like brand new.

Good for scuffing gloss polyurethane down to a matte finish. 0000 synthetic steel wool works as a good second scuff if you want to restore a little more sheen.

I use these on my cast iron saw table to keep it looking new and also in my hobby of restoring vintage hand tools. These are ideal to reduce a high gloss finish to a brushed look on any metal, including steel, and also as the final step to go from a brushed finish to a high gloss finish on a buffing wheel.
