Using it as a switch to a 48w ac transformer. I really like how it's fused, lights up when on, and is sized for spade connectors. Makes testing varous electronics easy and relatively safe.

I use 12V power supplies (Meanwell type) for various projects. LED displays, Halloween props, Ham equipment, etc. They only have terminals and the power cord has to be hard wired to the terminals. Plus there is no power switch. Pulling the plug from the outlet is the only way to turn it off. These modules add a power switch, the standard 3 conductor socket for a power cord, and a fuse. The module is rated for 10A and they include a standard 10 amp glass fuse.

This is a pretty good switch and socket combo. It’s a bit different than the style I’m used to, having only 3 spade terminals on the back (one each for L, N, and ground). Each one comes with a 10A fuse pre-installed. I tested them with a multimeter, and verified they are Double Pole Single Throw (DPST) switches, so both the Line and Neutral wires are switched (which is the proper way). The socket holds the power cord very snugly as well, and they are rated for 10A. No problems. 5 stars!
