Fell apart first time I used it. Printed directions would have helped tremendously.

Tried it on hard boiled eggs. It broke the shell but the egg remained inside the shell and had to be removed with a spoon. I also tried a raw egg but it just made a mess. Should not have wasted my money.

Does the device crack a raw egg? Yes, but why use it for a raw egg. Does it crack a hard boiled egg? Yes, but not like the video. Out of 7 hard boiled test eggs (later made into egg salad), only one cracked like the video. The other 6 eggs were ripped in half with the yolk in one side. Looking back, I believe the successful one was because, I let up on the tension on the probes that penetrated the shell, and the other ones I did not. I released the tension because my hand slipped. When I boil more eggs, if this is the case, I will update my post.

Not as easy as the video shows. It fell apart the first time I used it. One of the blades came out. It doesn’t remove the shell that easy, it just cracks the shell and then I use a teaspoon to remove the shell. I wouldn’t tell people to buy this item. Just use a teaspoon!

Good idea though I think the execution was off. The biggest problem I had with these is that when you have the egg inside (raw) to crack, you insert the metal plungers to cut the egg and then have to separate the two halves to crack into the pan. At times the separation can be difficult so it was easier to just crack it on the side of the pan. I never tried the boiled egg shell cracking because I usually soak them in cold water right after cooking and the shell separates easily, no need for this. There are definitely better designed products out there so I wouldn't waste time on these.
