It does not work on hard boiled eggs. I tap mine on it's side and roll it on the countre an it slips right off. This one digs in to the side of the egg and when opened screws up the egg.

I bought these because description stated “works on boiled eggsâ€. They don’t work on boiled eggs and are no better than a tap on the counter for raw eggs. The metal pieces fall out after any use. Totally worthless!

All of my boiled eggs broke. I just think it's not meant for hard-boiled eggs. Poorly made, too. Even for raw eggs. the plastic hinge gave way before I got through a dozen. You get what you pay for.

We followed the instructions for opening a hard boiled egg and each time the egg stuck to the shell. We had to use a teaspoon to pry the egg from the shell.The raw egg opened as directed. However, we ordered the product to assist with opening hard boiled eggs.

Not only doesn’t work but messed up eggs that I was peeling for deviled eggs

This is supposed to make it easier to shell hard boiled eggs. All it does is tear the egg apart. I just threw mine away. It’s a good thing that they were priced so low. Even still, it was a waste of money.
