I was curious that's why I bought it saw it all over the Internet, let me tell you it got believe and sure enough had some hardboiled eggs on hand those were the first victims instead of peeling the eggs it cuts them in half, first fail after the second egg the metal clips were already lose and fell off. I believe for cracking an egg it might be worse but like I said save your money, not worse it.

Horrible. The purchas included 3 egg splitters. Two arrived broken. The third was useless. Beware.
