This is the perfect tool to make sure my refrigerator, freezer, and chest freezer remain at optimal temperatures. Just place it in a location that you can read at a glance, and check up on it occassionally. The meter is no only old school (no batteries), but it's also easy to read, and the metal mounts are "soft metal" so you can bend the hook around say your chest freezer basket, very conventient.So stop using soft ice cream to determine that it's time to defrost! Use a thermometer instead.

Keep having hurricanes/power loss in florida and also heavy rains cause GFCI to reset my garage freezer.I have one in fridge/one in freezer and one in the deep freezer so I can quickly access the temps to see if the freezer or fridge needs maintance.
