Works great for my project! I've only used it in drilling holes in plastic barrels to install 2 inch pvc pipe. I recommend this hole saw.

Works just fine. TIP- get a plastc microwave cover and run the drill bit through it so, when you drill, zero mess. All goes in the cover and not all over the room.

Look, it was only $8.99. I didn't expect much, but it was properly sized and ultimately did the job. I needed to cut 50 4" holes in half-inch plywood. That's what I bought it for. It's not exactly the sharpest blade; each cut took time and effort, and my drill kept getting bogged down. By sawing a little more than halfway and then flipping the board over to finish each cut, I eventually got the job done. I did honestly wonder if paying another $10 for a Diablo blade would have made the project easier. After the 50 holes, I think this blade is basically toast.

This hole saw cut right through the drywall and the outside. I did use an extension to reach the outside wall.It tightened nicely and cut well. It felt safe, but go slow just in case as it doesn't have the safety pins on some hole saws.It was shar enough to cut through both sections nicely. I do not think it would work for metal but it does not advertise for that.

Had to cut couple 4" holes to install pending lights... using this cutter blade, made it quick, EZ and precise. Any 4" standard ceiling box will be a breeze to had them installed.

I used this to make a whole in my wood desk for cables. It struggled to get through about a half inch thick piece of density board. Think the spring in the middle is too firm which made it difficult to push through a certain point so I had to drill the hole from both sides of the board. I also don't like that it comes in several pieces that thread together. If you don't tighten the thread enough it could come off while using it.
