I was a bit shocked by how big and heavy this hole saw is, but that's a good thing. The arbor is really high quality, too, with a nice, easy to use mechanism for setting the locking pins in it (so that you can use it in reverse without it unscrewing off the arbor.)It cut perfect holes for the Halo recessed lights I just installed for my daughter.Rather than spend $25 for a transparent or silicone hole saw dust bowl, I cut a cardboard box down to the right height, drilled a 1/2 inch plus hole in the box, and voila, $25 saved. It caught 100% of the sheetrock bits, and 99% of the finest dust. Would have caught 100% if I'd cut the box opening into a more perfect plane.Count this arbor as being worth at least ten bucks or more, it's as good or better than other ones I have from HFT, Milwaukee, and even Starrett.Of course, you could buy a cheaper hole saw that only includes a cheap arbor without the locking pins, and just permanently epoxy or weld the arbor to the hole saw.

I’ve cut 8 of of 40 can light holes in and it’s worked well. Clean cut each time. It does clank around a bit but doesn’t seem to affect the performance. It also came with addition drill bits. That was a nice surprise. Easy to use.

Great product. Used it yesterday to install can overhead lights. heavy duty. Really impressed with the mandrel. True round. Great price. Yes, I would recommend.

Hi quality. Good value for the price the only negative thing since it’s heavy duty it’s also heavy works well though. Very dusty when cutting sheet rock.
