I was getting flickering at night. Added 1 in pvc coupling to shield unit from lamps light. Painted coupling or union black. Fits perfectly. Works great. Recommend.

I'm the president of an HOA that has 36 homes. Replacing the photocell sensor that controls the on/off of over garage lights is part of the HOA responsibility. I don't like to pay an electrician to do a simple job so I do it myself for the community.These work exactly as I had hoped. They've been in place for quite a while and reliably turn the light on when it's getting dark and off when it's getting light.I have noticed that these turn on the light immediately when it detects darkness (like covering it to test it) as opposed to some others that have a 30 second delay. I guess that can cause some on & off at times, but I haven't noticed any problems.

Good photoeye. I split a duplex outlet, adding the photoeye to one side. Anything you plug into it will automatically come on at night. Now I don't have to remember to turn on the electric charger keeping those rascal rabbits & doggone deer out of my garden.

Works well, nothing much to say really outside of the fact that the box was apparently open and stickers on units were ripped. Refurbs? I will never know. But the one installed does work.

Item is cheap, didn't work as promised. Can't handle a 400W load and constantly flickered due to a issue with the photocell. Buyers beware.
