My fridge/freezer starred making problems after 17 years. It was still working but needed to keep track of the temperature to make sure that the food doesn't get damaged. And then I found this. It seems to be very accurate, it's small in size and is easy to use.

really decent deal for the price, but for an analog gauge with no adjustment, you might expect a accuracy variation of plus or minus 1 or 2 degrees from one thermometer to the next, that is what I observed from buying four of them.

Put 2 in the refrigerator and 2 in the freezer to test their accuracy. At least the pairs matched each other.

These old style thermometers have always worked in the past and they still work now. I had digital thermometers in my refrigerator and freezer and the batteries would always go dead and if you mash the wrong button it turns it over to the metric system. These older ones always tell you the temperature in degrees, and no more batteries to replace. Just a better choice, and a lot more affordable as well.

These are great to keep in refrigerators and freezers to always know temperatures.
