Purchased to replace a failing LED light module for a flush mounted kitchen light. The kitchen light when purchased came with a built in LED light module. Issue is, once the original LED light fails the entire light and housing is no good. Searched for a better option and I found this light module that is a close replacement. Changing the light took some time and a small drill to relocate some mounting screws but it worked out. This light is bright and close to what I had previously. Nice feature is having its color temperature adjustable. Goes from a dull yellow to a bright white (bluer) color. Goes on instantly with no noticeable flutter. Overall, pleased with this item.

Bought this to replace the light module in my Home Depot fan whose LED module was flickering.I use it on the warmest setting which puts out the least light. Adequate but not super bright.I had to make some minor modifications to make this work but very easy to do.

Update:It took a few steps & some time but I did receive a replacement at no cost - adding a starBought in Jan 2023. I have been happy with it until a few days ago. Brightness was good. I set it once when first installed - had forgotten it was adjustable. Used in ceiling fan at constant level [no dimming or hi-med-low]. Had no problems with install. The bad news - I am replacing it end of May 2024. I have another set of track lights in this room that are on as often, maybe more, with a variety of led bulbs that were installed before Jan 2023 & are still going strong. At led pricing I need light to last longer than one year - This was on the low end of cost. I will not be buying again.

The LED lamp in an outdoor ceiling fan failed because the "Light Engine" became floosded and shorted out. This rectangular unit was not an exact match for the round one it replaced, but it was easy to adapt.I like that Legental's item is well sealed; looks like it will better resist water entry. Also like the adjustable color; easy to match the other lights in my deck roof.

I bought the led light fixture in my master bedroom when I moved in 8 years ago from either Home Depot or Lowe’s. It failed after a few years so I spent another 80-100 bucks on another one because I didn’t have the receipt. Then the second one failed last year and I just didn’t want to spend 100 bucks on another one they are just a cheap fixture with a led board screwed to it. I found this and was super happy I was able to spend under 20 bucks to fix it. I’m sure there are different styles and I think the one I bought was for a ceiling fan but I just drilled a couple holes and mounted it just fine. I highly recommend installing an inline fuse when installing led lights in your home. Most anyone you talk to including electricians maybe not all will tell you it’s not necessary to install a fuse but if you seen the circuit board when I took out the old led you would understand because it was literally melted and black so it was super hot and smoking! Reason being is leds use a very small amount of electricity which gets converted to DC and it can cause sparks possibly starting a fire without tripping a breaker. Is this very common? No but it can happen. I think I used a 1/4 amp fuse for this light maybe 1/2 amp I don’t remember exactly and the circuit breaker the light is on is 15 amps so when ur led light fails like mine did and is drawing more power than it should that doesn’t mean it’s drawing enough power to pop the breaker this is why when your light fails it still turns on but blinks and/or is dim.

Unit is well built. Unit does NOT produce 23 Watt of light as advertised. Only a fraction of that - so NOT as bright as a 100W incandescent. After doing some math - if ALL of the LEDs were lit, it would equal the stated wattage. The ability to select the color temperature cuts the number of lit LEDs by about a 1/5th - leave the actual wattage as 5 Watt. Caveat Emptor.
