Replaced a burned out fluorescent element with this item and now I have better light than ever before. I was able to use my original fixture so my lights still match. I will be purchasing additional units to repair more burned out lights. The instructions were a little bit short.

Our torchiere lamp was finally on its last leg after 22 years of service. This LED replacement disk was the perfect solution. The slide switches make it easy to adjust the brightness & color temperature with ease. I should point out, I have a background in electronics, so the modifications were fairly easy. Unless you have some technical expertise, it may not be advisable to undertake this type of modification.

Worked well in my older fan I did however have to make a modification because the magnet legs did not align with my fan but not a big deal just used part of old light kit

I have poor lighting in my house, I rely on a ceiling fan for a majority of light in my main room. The previous LED panel did a solid job, but just wasn't bright enough (3000 LM). This thing is 4000LM, noticeably brighter and dims better too. Very happy with it 36w version. I'll update review if it fails.

I have acquired a few of these LEDs to retrofit old fans and the one fan I had been holding back from doing has a massive light structure and the little 4 inch one looked awful in it. This one fills the space so much better and it is insanely bright. This single light fills a 12ft x 14ft amazingly well. It is a vast improvement over the incandescent that was originally in there! this even looks much better than the original when lit up! fully dimmable and been working flawlessly. The best retrofit light I have installed and very easy to recommend.

Install was easy. Never seen a light kit that used a screw block connection, but I uncrimped the leads to the old light kit and used the previously crimped ends in the terminal block, then was able to plug directly into the existing light kit connector. Magnets held it up fine.But when I powered it up, it was super dim. Didn’t matter what I changed the wattage setting to. Changing the CCT slider did change which LEDs were on, but didn’t improve brightness.Sending it back as it plainly did not work.

I prefer 4" lights as they are sized for most ceiling fans, and 5000K color temp which is a nice white light. I have been replacing LED light engines for several years, and whoever came up with the idea of using magnets to mount these is a genius. Much better than drilling, tapping, and making custom standoffs.What a difference an LED light makes; much brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs. I like 5000K color temperature, and the color from these is a little too blue for me at 6000K. This unit generates a lot of heat, this may be a concern for longevity in an enclosed light fixture. I have it installed in an enclosed fixture, and will report back any issues if it fails.The light comes assembled with the magnets. I thought this would not matter, but some of the competitor LEDs do not come assembled, and the plastic protector does not fit right. When the magnets are attached at the factory, the entire assembly already fits together correctly.The plastic connector included is junk; does not take enough wire to safely connect. I use which may be one of the best inventions for electricians in the 21st Century.I have found these seven products to all be the exact same items: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) I would recommend the ULIKELED because the specs and pictures are accurate.
