These are awesome! We have a raccoon problem and have had to keep our trash cans on the screened porch. Put these on and now we can put the cans back outside as they keep the animals out! So happy they work wonderful! Would recommend

These were just what I needed. We have large racoons, deer and other animals that regularly will knock over our cans and drag out the trash making a mess. The coons are big enough that I have video of them climbing on one can and opening the top of one next to it. I used clamps to help stop them but sometimes when they knock the can over, the clamp pops off. These are a great solution.Turns out I really only need ONE per trash can for the size our city uses. It is handy because it is always right there, don't have to go looking for the clamp, and even knocking the can over myself, the lid stays in place. Finally I have beat those smart darn racoons

I ordered these not to keep animals out, but to keep the lids on/closed, when my husband is driving to and from the dump. They were super easy to add onto our outdoor trash cans and will definitely save the frustration of losing another lid.

These are great items that help prevent animals from getting into your trash. They take a bit of effort and time to install on the trash can, but once that is done they are very easy to use. Just make sure that you let it be a little slack to where it isn't hard to fasten. They serve their purpose very well and I haven't had any animals getting into our trash since installing these.

Relatively easy install and holds the lids down tight. Not worried about the cords or any of the hardware breaking as they are pretty robust. I doubt they'd stop a bear that is interested as it would probably just break the trash can, but should stop other critters and the wind.

I had a real problem with raccoons until I bought these lid locks now I am not picking my garbage up anymore. I would recommend these lid locks. Very easy to install. Say good bye to any animal.
