This is a good value. It is very flexible for many different projects. It has good grip when you compress it longitudinally. If you need to make it grip from the sides, you can easily rig up some screw tension grips using some angle iron, screws, nuts, and the existing holes to secure them to the piece. Weigh the pieces and make sure the rig is balanced before spinning it. Start with low speed, double check that it’s balanced, and then gradually increase the RPM’s until you’re at your working speed.

It’s a solid plate and would do great but not the right size. That was my fault for not measuring first.

This is a good face plate fits good made out of steel the price was good I will recommend this face plate to any one that wants quality at a fair price. Didn’t give it a five because the finish could have been a little better. But most folks are not looking at the polished surface.

Well made; good machining, the only issue I had was that it began to rust after the first use. I live in a very high humidity environment, so it should work well for most woodworkers.

Total confusion by Amazon…two similar parts ordered at same time. The part that can’t be provided was listed as the one delivered. Hopefully I will be credited for the undelivered part. Too bad, the undelivered part was the one I needed more urgently but the delivered part was received on time and is of high quality and value.
