I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

This bushing adapter might be usable for some non-precision applications, so I gave it 3 stars.My sample of one. The one I got was 24.97mm at the socket end, tapering to 24.88mm at the other end. This is a whopping 0,076mm (0.003") taper. I don't think that would work well in collects or holders. In addition, at the shank end there was a strange flattening of a couple more thou. I don't even know how to do such a lousy grind. I think the MT socket is OK, probably because a reamer was used to finish it. The runout between the socket and the barrel is 0.08mm (0.0032").For my application I didn't need a specific diameter, so I mounted it on a MT mandrel on my lathe, and trued it with a toolpost grinder. It took 0.01" (0.25mm) reduction in diameter to clear all of the barrel surface. I can't see this as received item working for precision applications. If you are going to give it a try you might want to buy three, hopefully getting one good one, and returning the defective parts for a full refund. I'd rather not have to do that, but the seller is selling junk.

This adapter does not fit snug in my 25 mm bearings and the bearings are brand new never used. I also tried other bearings and still the same problem, it has a loose fit that will definitely affect the cutting.

Part has a really good finish, accurate measurements, and a good fit taper.here's the measurements i took :knurling OD : 30.15mmOuter shaft diameter : 24.97 to 25.01mmoverall length : 71.98mmShould be usable for my application of a bearing supported secondary drill chuck.

Junk!The OD runs out .025" in relation to the ID. Also the internal is ground only halve way around still showing unclen machined and heat treating marks.I was going to thow it in the garbage but decided to return it instead, why to waste 34 dollars.
