Most of my seeds germinate in these little sponges, I don't need a heating pad, and just have some small grow lights - they work well to get the plants started. Just separate all of them before you seed, as once they have roots, pulling each one apart often kills the plant next to another. Other than that, these don't harbor mold or mildew - making them very good.

Works fine as a replacement for old ones.

400 pieces grow sponges, comes in sheets and you pull them apart. When separated they are a little square with a hole in the top and a X on the bottom. I have just planted my seeds in them and I am eager to see how the seeds do in this medium. This is a more economical alternative, 400 in all, that's going to keep me busy for a very long time. LOL I willl post progress pics later on.

Well designed the depression where the slit is ingenious when it comes to getting plants in and out that are small and fragile. This makes life easy.

These come vacuum packed, just remove from packaging and let sit for awhile to resume their shape. These are about 25cmx25cm square. Great for the Vegebox round plastic baskets that I believe are about 1" across. They arrived quickly, will buy again.

Convenient and easy to use. Would have liked them to be a fraction larger, but other than that they're great!
