I had bought a nice edger with a fiberglass handle from the big box store. Fifth stab in a weld broke and bent the spade part. Not this one. I used it on about a third of what I’m working on today and it’s working as intended. Nice and sharp too. The foot pegs are big enough for me to use this wearing my old worn out crocs. Did I mention I’m disabled, but this tool is very user friendly.

I liked the tool over all. Worked as it should. The screw holes were covered in the coating or paint used on the item. I couldn't get the screws in, so I had to run a tap through it. After that it went together with no problems. It's made of soft steel so it flexes. Value for the money is great. After some use the screws had to be retightened. If they back out again maybe some locktite. Overall quite satisfied.

For the price you cannot go wrong. This is by far one of the best products I have purchased on Amazon by a long shot. It’s easy to assemble and is a tight fit, it’s very sturdy. I used it to remove some sod to make a flower bed. The only minor design flaw is the cushions on the handle tend to slide a little but no biggie.

Even with the screws it's pretty wobbly. Had to retighten the screws over and over. After using it for about a month to edge out my lawn, it became bent on the actual shovel so it's even harder to use now. It did serve its purpose for a little while, albeit with some snags, but definitely not a long term tool.

Needed an "old school" edger and couldn't find one locally. This unit was perfect, at a very competitive price.

Blade bent at first use in clayey soils. Might work in Florida or sandy places, but not for me.
