This tool wins the most unexpected, highest-value garden tool award. I might even rank it among the top five best purchases from Amazon of all time.At the end of last season, I had the lawn edged with a professional gas-powered edging tool. I kept the lawn blade on the longer side to prevent water from evaporating from the ground. But not even halfway through the season, the edges were overgrown into the pavement.I found this and highly skeptical how it can cut and make the edges clean. But, to my delight, it worked extremely well. I saw few reviews how it takes a lot of work, and may be because I already had a good tranch from the industrial edger last season, it was not so bad to run this tool along the edge. The tool comes in separate pieces, and I was very concerned about its strength when I put weight on it, but it was no problem. The pictures are worth a thousand words. See the trench from the edger? I just put this tool's 'guide' on it and ran it. It cuts the blade very well. You can see the difference in how clean the edge looks closer and the untreated on the far end of the pictures. The left side of the sidewalk is more dramatic (and I had to work a little harder as soil filled in the trench more since there is a slope to the road).Anyway, if you are tired of paying for professional edging, this will maintain a great edge all season long. I also found that the more you run it and build the 'trench,' the easier it gets to maintain the edge.

This is fairly easy to use . I’m a woman but strong …. I like that it’s not electric. Sometimes I go forward then backward with it but it edges great. Pick up the scraps on the cement ! Sturdy value for money not heavy

This is an excellent edger. It is environmentally friendly and very easy to use. It is well constructed and worked well on even the thickest tufts of grass along my walkway. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to avoid the hassle of cords, batteries or gas edging tools.

Love this tool! I've been using an electrical edger that requires lugging out a long extension cord and then wrestling with the cord and the edger to get a straight line, etc. With this manual edger it's so easy to touch up and clean the edge when the grass grows back. It requires a little manual labor but it's not that hard. It's well made and easy to use. It works!!

Very difficult to use, an electric weed-eater works better. Also, much easier to use.Shipped as primised.

This works, but keep in mind you should have a power edger get you started. Once you have a nice edge, edge often and don't stop. You don't want to let the edge get overgrown or dirt to fill the edge. So if you start using this, edge often and don't quit.I am quite quick with the edging and find the tool easy to use. Usage requires you spin the blade to cut. Read that to mean short bursts of speed. Forward fast, backward fast, take a step, repeat. You can edge walking forward or edge walking backward. This allows exercising left side or right side and makes working around flowerpots and obstructions easy. If you have some odd spots or irregular concrete, you will have challenges. Edging curves is a pain. I'm very happy I moved away from a power edger, but using this takes a little longer and makes me sweat a lot more.

Look this isn't some miracle piece but it gets the job done. It's pretty cheap so it's well worth it. It takes a little bit of effort but nothing too crazy. My driveway worked very well and my sidewalk looks a lot better than what it was because it was overgrown like a half a foot. I should have did this when it wasn't wet outside but I was impatient and wanted to test it. Overall highly recommend
