About Weaver
Founded by Harry A. Weaver in 1973 as the Fryburg Shoe Shop, Weaver grew from humble beginnings into the trusted manufacturer of a wide range of leather and nylon goods it is today. In the beginning, Harry concentrated on shoe repair, but before long he recognized the potential to expand into other markets. The fledgling company began handcrafting leather horse and cattle halters. The popularity of these halters led to the manufacture of more and more items prompting Weaver to become a driving force across various industries including equine, livestock, leather supply, pet, arborist, tool gear and custom manufacturing.

To start off, this Beveler is awesome. Super sharp and ready to roll out of the box. It’s smooth as butter seems like it’ll last forever if you take care of it. I have cheaper bevelers and a more expensive one. This is the best. Definitely will be getting a 1 or even a 0 for smaller projects. Just save your shekels and get these you won’t regret it!

These are game changers, will elevate your leatherwork and save some time. Works great on veg, and chrome tanned leather, we've bought 7 so far, for every bench, Expensive but they work so much better than standard bevelers.

This is four times the price of the cheap edgers on amazon, but the difference is night and day. Neat cuts, easy to use, works well on the suede side of leather as well.

This is a great tool and it even came sharp. I had noticed that many of the how to videos showed this edger being used so I decided to give it a go.The bad thing is now I want a full set

It is sharp and does the job. But the angle of the edge is L shaped so you have to skive from a upright angle which can be annoying with softer leather. The part I dislike the most is the tip is very wide so on thinner leathers you can't put it to a 45° angle because it hits the table

This is the first time I’ve held one of these in my hand and I was instantly using is perfectly. Comfortable and super sharp. Would recommend

Ok, so I'm belt maker, who's made hand - crafted belts for decades. When I started out , I had to use tools that I could afford. Now, it is imperative to me to a) use the best quality tools to make top quality products, and b) it is important for me to use only American made tools and supplies to support The American working men and women.So if you are hesitant about spending $ 40 on an edger- don't worry. The wood handle is quality hardwood; larger and fits the hand better - especially larger hands, and the fit and finish is the stainless blade is outstanding.Highly recommended ! Nice job Weaver.

This is a top quality tool well made in the USA, this is well made from quality materials thr blade has a long grove for removing the leather in one pice it also has a bend at the cutting tip so you can't dig into the leather as you bevel the leather, the handle has a nice grip for holding, the tool is ready for use straight from the box and is very sharp, the leather in the photo is 4mm / 8oz and the tool cut like butter, I have used two other tools for bevelling leather and paid out a lot of money for tools that just don't work, this is far the best tool out of the lot, I choose Weaver on Amazon US shop after buying one from Weaver USA and saved 20 dollars , both had the fast delivery time, there is plenty of Weaver videos on YouTube for how to use and how to sharpen, I am well impressed and will use Amazon Weaver shop for future tools.
