Here are some tips for sanding car paint:
- 400-600 Grit: Feather edging and sanding down final paint and primers for paint
- 600-800 Grit: Dry and Wet removing runs in paint which would be follwed by high grits
- 800-1000 Grit: Color Blending
- 1000-1500 Grit: Removing orange peel and other imperfections and lowing grit marks
- 2000-2500 Grit: Removing scratches dust and grit marks in the paint
- 3000-5000 Grit: Final removal of scratches swirl marks and other
Interface Pad
Constructed of soft durable foam which allows the technician to follow contours and get closer to edges while minimizing burn through. Protect against damage to backing pad. Sponge cushion buffer backing pad is soft and flexible, which can reduce the vibration from the sanding tool, and improve the grinding effect, helping you finish the polishing, grinding and so on. Suitable for uneven surface polishing such as wooden bowls, car surface and boat paint.
Note: Like all abrasives, this set is a consumable item. To prolong the life of accessories, do not work without interruption. Please keep the angle grinder/drill cool (below 180℉). Do not use low grit sandpaper discs on rough or sharp edges to prevent premature tearing.

The only issue I had with this product was that the rotary pad was warped. This meant any polishing was uneven. The sanding disc papers themselves are pretty decent but really only last for one session- which is understandable on higher grit paper. The hook and loop design works great and makes changing the discs quick and easy.

Good drill attachment for small sanding jobs, if you don't want to buy an orbital sander. It was easy to use. Provided sanding discs are very fine, so ended up ordering lower grid discs from somewhere else. Overall it's a good product that works for my needs!

This pad alone is a great deal alone, the fact that you get so many sanding disks is amazing. The kit even comes with an interface pad. This is the perfect set of grits for polishing aluminum plate to a mirror finish first do 400 grit with no interface pad, then with the interface pad do 800, 1500, 3000, 5000 a spritz of Alumacut each disk change. Then polish with a wool pad and poshing rouge. Turns aluminum into a mirror. This pad has just the right amount of "give" too. I recently bought a Grainger "approved" pad alone, same price, but that pad is so hard it's easy to gouge metal. I liked this set so much I bought a second set and removed a whole bunch of individual sanding disks from my shopping cart. This pad can also be used with a 5 inch pure wool hook and loop buffing pad for final polishing. Highly recommended.

The drill bit was circular and won't fit your drill if its hexagonal. The sandpaper is good quality though and you get plenty. I had to return mine because the drill adapter that came with it wasn't the right one for any of the drills that I have so look more carefully into that. Otherwise, no complaints, it seemed like a good quality set, but I didn't get to use it as it was intended to be used.

Making lamps out of White Oak & Walnut on the lathe. 17" long by 6" diameter. Sanding up to 600 grit by hand is exhausting. Received the sanding attachment for my angle grinder just in time to try it out on the first lamp. Sanded the blank out to 600 in a matter of a few minutes. White Oak sands very slowly by hand, but with the angle grinder it was incredibly fast. I wouldn't use is on small blanks, like pens and utensils, as it is probably too large (too wide wide) and far too aggressive for doing detailed sanding. But on larger items like bowls, vases, rolling ins, etc. it is a great time saver.

Product is okay. I used it for my headlight restoration. The 3000, 4000 and 5000 grid burns through easily when you use the orbital sander. I recommend to sand your headlight by hand.

The backing disc and sanding disc's are all there but the drill arbor is missing. Had to order another disc plate and arbor from others!
