This is a quality disc holder. The quick change threads are well formed. Discs screw on smoothly and securely. I'm using this smaller diameter holder with 2" polycarbide abrasive discs. The abrasive disc diameter wears down during use. The smaller diameter holder allows me to get more use out of each disc before the holder starts to contact the work piece.

I got these to get more life out of 2" 3M ROLOC surface prep scrubby pads. They work fine, and I get more life out of the pads.
