hi all, this is going to be a different review than most, but hopefully helpful. here is 10k ft view. Customer service is excellent, quick responses within 24hrs and the company honored their product quality and commitment to customer satisfaction, a rarity. Software and ability to customize is amazing. Capabilities seem endless, and lastly Image quality was excellent. read on for story behind these points.I purchased this system for a new residence under construction, so I was not able to test on the new house, but the BF deal was one I couldnt refuse. But I did test the system inside with dim lighting in various rooms/angles. Also, it comes with four 100ft poe cables, that great, 60ft is not enough to reach all mounting points on the house IMO, at least a 2400 sq ranch. The hardware setup could not be easier, plug one end of each of the 8 ethernet ports into back of recorder, other end of ethernet into the camera, and a hdmi from recorder to a tv/monitor, and its working. software setup took longer but was easy. there is a wizard asking for info, gathering data. You'll need to create a pwd and pick a pattern of connecting dots on a grid with mouse, this is so you dont have to type pwd in future, you can just use provided mouse to draw your pattern. After I placed cameras around this house, i setup alarms so when someone came into view, when something crossed a line , alrms sounded ... just experimenting, I didnt get the lights to come on when motion was detected but it has that ability. This is where another perk of this system comes in. I noticed the hard drive was making a sound, a constant thunk svery sec, these are spinning disc HDs so i was nervous it would fail soon. I recorded the sound and sent it to hiseeu, then removed the HD and turned on .. sound was gone, so we knew it was HD, ...they decided its best to replace it. How cool is that? I didnt have to fight with them and argue, they just took care of it. One other thing you may need to know is the 2 way audio, (recorder records video and audio from camera and plays both realtime on your lcd/tv, but then you have ability to speak to whoever the camera is viewing. Now the manual shows an audio in port, like your typical input port where you could attach a mic, or maybe use one of 2 USB ports to plug in a mic, or maybe speak to lcd if it had a mic to send that voice to the camera. BUT, the unit only has one audio port and its audio out. In order to use 2 way audio, the only option is to use the phone. this is the only thing I wish was better. I dont want to have to connect to the internet with an app for this feature. Of course you can view the cameras from the phone app also. I would prefer to not go out through the internet with this system for security reason, so maybe I wont use 2 way audio, other than that the system works 100% without an internet connection, which is big selling point. So all in all, I would buy this again. customer service is great, all the different settings that can be done is terrific, almost too much, but just configure what you want and dont mess with all the settings, you get wires that are long enough, you get 3TB hd, some only give 2tb, can use without use of internet keeping everything private/secure, and the cost was just lower than the other units. slam dunk IMO

I bought this system to be usedfor a business almost a year ago and I'm in a peace of mind since then.It has an excellent picture quality and a very clear Night vision that allow me to watch the business 24/7 through my phone using their recommended app without any problem.I had two Technical problems, but with the wonderful customer service they were able to solve the problems and sent me the replacement parts without any delay and I'm very thankful for them.I'm really happy with this system and the great customer service and I highly recommend .

I have used these for several months now, and would purchase again. I had one camera stop working due to a power surge, and the hard drive quit soon after. I believe this was also due to the power surge and no fault of the product. The hard drive was easy to replace, and all of the other cameras have operated perfectly. Setup was very straightforward. I do sometimes lose the signal to one of the cameras and have to unplug and re-plug the cable back in to the nvr to get it working again. I do recommend and would purchase again. Very satisfied for the price.

This review is for the Hiseeu 4K Security Camera System, 8pcs 8MP PoE kit, ASIN B0D17RXJ2T, item number PK-8YHC488-CT, with Amazon description as [4K HD+121°Wide View] Hiseeu 4K Security Camera System, 8 Pcs 8MP PoE Security Camera Outdoor, Human Vehicle Detect, Color Night Vision,No Monthly Fee, 3TB HDD for Indoor Outdoor Home Surveillance Use.After running the ethernet cables through that attic and drilling holes through the walls and ceilings, we hooked up the cameras. We noted that the image quality was quite grainy for 8MP cameras and spent hours going through various menus trying different settings. Finally, we discovered that the cameras were only being recorded at 2880x1620 (5MP) instead of the advertised 8MP, despite showing up as 8MP cameras in other screens and having the main stream set to 4K. We contacted customer support who replied that the NVR was set by the company to record at the lower resolution. This is confusing, as the product description states that the recorder is capable of 8MP recording and has plenty of room for 8MP recordings. At one point we considered ordering other 8MP Hiseeu cameras to test in an effort to avoid running more cables in the attic. We decided to cut our losses and return the unit for a higher quality set after finding that the other Hiseeu 8MP camera we planned to buy was discovered by a reviewer running Blue Iris software to only record at 5MP.I cannot recommend this set if you are looking for 8MP cameras and 8MP recording. At this point it is unclear if the issue is with the cameras or with the NVR.The included pictures show the relevant camera set and where the lower quality recording can be found in the menus.

Great cameras and really good image quality. Easy to setup and very easy to use application both on the recorder and on the phone. Customer service support is really helpful as well and there for you . I had an issue and they struggled to help me with my problem.Totally recommend

I bought my hiseeu security cameras back in May 2023. The 4K picture quality to this day is still perfect. The motion detection works still perfectly to this day and the color night vision is just awesome. I only had one problem. I had too many cameras for my NVR so I bought a. hiseeu switch and it was so easy to connect to the NVR and now I have 11 cameras and like I said I bought it back in May 2023 and not one problem knock on wood lol

SYSTEM COMES WITH EVERTHING TO INSTALL RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. I HAD SOME RIPPLE'WAVES ON THE INDOOR CAMERAS FROM LED LIGHTS. EMAILED SUPPORT AND GOT A RESPONSE NEXT DAY BECUASE OF TIME ZONE DIFFFERANCE, THEY ASKED ME TO MAKE SOME CHANGES TO THE CAMERA SETTINGS, ONCE THE SETTINGS WERE CHANGED THE VIDEO WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR,I HAVE BOUGHT SEVERAL SYSTEMS FROM THIS COMPANY AND HAVE NOT BEEN DISSAPPOINTEDGREAT SUPPORT ON TOP OF IT ALL
