I recently acquired the WiFi 4k microscope, and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of impressive. Within just five minutes of unboxing the device, I had it connected to my phone, ready to put to the test.Once connected, I I pointed it at a electronic board I was working on. The clarity and detail of the images captured were astounding. Every component, from the smallest resistors to intricate circuit pathways, was visible with exceptional precision.The WiFi functionality proved to be a game-changer, allowing seamless wireless connectivity to my phone. This feature liberated me from the constraints of wired connections, making it more convenient to maneuver and capture images from various angles. The accompanying app was user-friendly.The microscopeรขโฌโขs use extends beyond just electronic boards. Its high-resolution capabilities make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from inspecting small mechanical parts to examining plant specimens.

There are reasons that microscopes work best with stands. You need a surgeon like steady hands otherwise it is very difficult to stay on target and focused. Especially if the object is moving or not very steady itself.You will need to refocus if you change zoom or distance from target. If you are holding the phone in one hand and the microscope in the other, it can be difficult to use the focus or buttons without moving the microscope and lose target and focus.As far as the image, the quality is amazing and it works great for my needs. This will be especially true if I can figure out a way to place my phone or a screen for the image to be shown on so that I do not have to hold in my hand. This would make it much easier to focus the microscope.For the price, it is really an excellent microscope. I believe you can buy a stand separate for it. I do wish it came with one. But over all I am very pleased. Maybe with practice focusing and zooming will be much smoother. But I do wish they buttons were more intuitively placed so that you can do all of the functions with one hand WHILE keeping the microscope on a proper XY axis so that when you move left, right, up or down that is how the image moves.

I've used USB microscopes with a resolution of 1080p and they work ok. However, when trying to solder very fine pins on a circuit board, it can be difficult to be as precise as needed. I will say, this 4k microscope does not disappoint. It's a night and day difference from the other microscopes ive used.It was very easy to locate the WiFi connect app and pair the microscope. Directly connecting it to a PC does provide enhanced resolution, clarity, and doubles as power to the microscope. Additional features include focus adjustment, zoom buttons, and a photo button. (Images of WiFi usage on my phone when viewing the carpet on my days tree house.) Another overlooked feature is the light built into the microscope. With this I don't need a separate light to illuminate the object I am viewing.As one other reviewer stated, having the metal stand would be beneficial depending on your use case. I personally need the stand when viewing or working on circuit boards.Of course, it can be used for a wide variety of projects or just for fun. My family and I went outside when I first got it and found bugs, plants, and trees to zoom in on. Very fascinating stuff and the kids were entertained for hours.Overall I am very pleased and would highly recommend this (as well as the metal stand) to anyone looking for this type of product.
