So, I ordered these in hopes they would work for my year as they look near identical. They did not work to say the least. Not the products fault. I took a chance and well it didn't work out. None the less the quality of the item is decent. Would recommend.

I installed this kit on a 2003 Ford Ranger. I figured that since the truck is getting older that I should go ahead and replace the tailgate hinge. I had no idea how bad it had gotten until I experienced how much nicer it felt after installing this kit! The build quality was nice. They fit the housing tightly and they fit on the pivot parts securely so they feel stock without any play.Once installed, I was amazed by how smooth and quiet the tailgate was; I didn’t realize I’d had that much play in the old ones.This was an easy swap that took about 20 minutes.This kit included extra parts for other styles. I needed the 2 round ones.It did come with instructions that I didn’t use so I can’t comment on quality.They were packaged well and I received them without any damage.
