The thinnest of 3 different jar opener pad designs that I purchased to try out. At about 5 inches across, slightly smaller than the other 2 designs I tried. The textured surfaces provide a very good and effective grip if you have enough hand strength for a tight grip. Durability remains to be seen, but my initial uses show no problems. The 4-pack provides replacements for any that get damaged in use.Pad style jar openers provide a better grip on the jar lid than a bare hand alone. But hand and wrist strength are still needed to open the jar. If an improved grip is not enough assistance, then mechanical or electrical jar openers my be a better option.Despite the product photos, I would not use these thin pads as hot beverage coasters. They are too thin to provide much temperature protection for furniture surfaces, and there is no information on the product web page about the temperature tolerance of this product. There are plenty of inexpensive proper coasters available on Amazon.

Without these little number pads I would never be able to open a jar again I work great my hands don't hurt I can't get into anything that's great

These do what they're designed to do and aren't unnecessarily complicated or bulky. They last surprisingly well too, considering the material. I keep mine outside (not in direct sunlight) and that doesn't phase it. Frequent wear shows up as white streaks but doesn't affect the functionality. These are like a dollar each and I had enough to share.

Something you wish you had every time you try to open a jar. My hands aren’t getting stronger. I’ve used them 3 times in the first two weeks. Our strong boys use them too. Love. Glad I finally thought to look for them on Amazon.

I didn’t like how thin these were. But they work. I don’t expect them to last too long; good thing it’s a 4-pack. But I shared with my mom who also has arthritis in her hands to help open jars and bottles.

These are the perfect size pads for different jars and bottles. The grip is very good and it's a great value.
