I needed these after surgery and have never needed them before, they are smaller than I thought they would be. When opening a big jar, it just covers it making it hard to get a grip on the sides. They are not as well made as I remember my mothers being years ago.

These are great when you loose the grip in hands. Open bottle and jars one on top and one on bottom. Can't tighten hose so it doesn't leak... works for that too. Many uses inexpensive. I paid for mine not a vine person!

Keep shopping!I don't understand the good reviews. Unbelievably flimsy, and has zero grip. My mom bought one randomly that is a slick silicone that is amazing!! It was a random purchase so I can't replicate.I used to have the kind with handles you squeeze with 3 different size holes, I hated it.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have problems grasping small lids and caps. These are so helpful when opening jars and bottles. These are a lifesaver for me.
