I had one of these openers for many years . The pin kept falling out but I could put it back and still use it. It is great for opening wine bottles and small jars. Unfortunately it eventually broke and I couldn't find another one. I was so happy to see it on Amazon, and at a much cheaper price. One reviewer stated it wouldn't open water bottles. I turn it over and use the metal teeth - works like a charm.

I had one of these for several years, but after a lot of use, it broke.It is simple to use and works well for a number of items.

I ordered this jar opener because it’s the same one that my mom has. I’ve used hers a few times without issue. I’ve only used mine a few times, and today it snapped in half like so many of the reviews depict. I wish I had looked at reviews before purchasing.

Not 5 stars only because piece of rubber where attaches to caps already peeled off, but still does the job. Great for all smaller caps such as water and soda bottles, and wine bottles as well. Will always keep one in the drawer, and also bought one for a friend who also loves it! We "senior" people don't have enough strength in our hands to open these caps anymore!

This is the second one of these that I purchased and both times it simply broke in half opening a bottle of Pellegrino!!Do not buy this.It’s junk
